Torque DMS

Every customer call, saved against the customer

Torque Calls records your inbound calls, analyses every conversation and files it on the customer record. It spots the sales and service opportunities, flags where a call went wrong, and tells your team what to do next, so no enquiry slips through.

Your phones, finally joined up with your DMS

Most call recording sits in a separate system nobody checks. Torque Calls puts every conversation where your team already works.

Every call saved to the customer

Torque recognises the caller’s number and saves the recording, transcript and summary on their customer record, next to their vehicles, jobs and invoices.

Sorted for you

Each call is sorted automatically: sales enquiry, service booking, parts, chasing a car, complaint. The right team sees it without anyone listening back.

No more forgotten call-backs

When someone promises to ring a customer back, Torque spots it and creates a follow-up task with a due time.

Know which adverts make the phone ring

Separate numbers for Auto Trader, your website and Google show exactly where every call came from, and which calls turned into sales.

Missed calls, caught

If nobody picks up, the caller gets a text from your business and the missed call lands on your to-do list.

Coaching built in

Managers see how calls went, what customers asked for and where bookings or test drives were missed, by person and by site.

Torque listens to every call, so you don't have to

Every call is analysed, not just a sample. Torque picks out the money you could make and the moments that lost you a sale, then puts them in front of the right person.

Opportunities it spots

  • Ready-to-buy signals, such as asking about availability, test drives or delivery dates
  • Interest in finance, part exchange or extended warranty
  • A service, MOT or repair the customer mentions is due
  • Customers asking about a car you have in stock, or one you could source
  • A competitor quote you could beat

Where calls go wrong

  • No appointment, test drive or booking offered
  • Caller’s name, number or vehicle not taken
  • A call-back promised but not made
  • Price or part-exchange objections left unanswered
  • Unhappy or frustrated customers, flagged before they become a complaint

On every call, you get

Summary

What the call was about, in two lines.

Outcome

Booked, sold, lost or needs follow-up.

Call score

How well the call was handled, against what good looks like.

Customer mood

Happy, neutral or at risk.

Next step

The action Torque suggests, with a task ready to go.

Hot leads and unhappy customers are flagged to a manager straight away, so nothing waits until someone gets round to listening back.

See it in Torque

Torque Calls is built into the DMS your team already uses, not bolted on as another login.

Know who to ring back first

The Calls page shows how many calls came in this week, how many you answered and missed, the opportunities Torque spotted and your team's average call score. The To do list puts hot leads and unhappy customers at the top, with a clear next step and a time it's due, so the calls that matter most get returned first.

The whole customer relationship in one place

Calls are matched to the customer by their phone number and saved on their record, right alongside their sales and service history. Each customer shows whether they buy cars from you, service with you, or both, when they last visited and what they've spent. One click on the phone icon brings up every call they've made to you, with the recording, transcript and what was agreed.

We set up local numbers for your adverts, website and Google listing.

2

Phones ring as normal

Calls go to the phones and people you already have. Nothing new to learn.

Torque analyses every call

Each call is recorded, transcribed and analysed for opportunities, missed chances and customer mood.

4

Act on it

Follow-ups, bookings and leads appear in Torque, saved against the customer.

Questions dealers ask

Do we have to change our phone system?

No. Torque Calls numbers forward to the phones you already use, whether that is a landline, a mobile or a cloud phone system.

Is call recording legal?

Yes, as long as callers are told. Torque Calls plays a short "calls may be recorded" message, and we give you wording for your privacy notice.

Where are recordings kept?

Recordings and transcripts are stored in Europe and only your business can see them, in line with UK GDPR.

What does Torque actually look for in a call?

Buying signals, finance and part-exchange interest, work that is due, and moments where a booking, a name or a call-back was missed. Each call gets a summary, an outcome, a score, the customer’s mood and a suggested next step.

What happens when a new customer calls?

If Torque does not recognise the number, the call is saved as a new enquiry. Your team can link it to a customer in one click.

Does it work for groups?

Yes. Each site gets its own numbers, and group managers can compare calls and outcomes across sites.
