Torque DMS Product Updates: July 2026
We ship changes to Torque DMS continuously, but not all of them get announced. This month there are a few worth calling out, either because they change how you sign in, how you reach us, or how you manage stock day to day.
Sign in with Google or Microsoft
You can now log in and register using an existing Google or Microsoft account, alongside the usual email and password option. This is aimed mainly at making it faster to get new staff set up: no password to create, no reset email to chase, one click and they are in.
Existing accounts are not affected. Email and password login still works exactly as before. This is an additional option, not a replacement.
Message the Torque DMS team directly, from inside the app
There is a new "Message Us" option in the support chat widget. Instead of a one-way feedback form, it opens a real conversation with our team, and any reply comes straight back into the same chat window, not by email.
The intention is to close the gap between raising something and hearing back about it. If you spot an issue, want a feature, or just have a question about how something works, this is now the fastest way to reach us.
Support for dealers outside the UK
Torque DMS now supports dealerships based outside the UK. The application and location settings forms ask for a country, alongside the existing address fields, so international dealers are represented properly in the system rather than being fitted into a UK-shaped form.
This is the first step in a wider piece of work as we take on dealers in more countries. If you are part of a dealer group operating internationally and want to know more about how Torque DMS handles multi-country operations, get in touch through the new "Message Us" option above.
Vehicle stock: registration is now optional
You can now add a vehicle to stock without a registration number. This matters for genuinely new, pre-registration stock that has not been plated yet, which previously could not be saved until a registration was entered. The registration field is still there and still useful for the DVLA lookup, but it is no longer a blocker.
Smaller improvements
- Every card on the Sales Dashboard now takes you straight to the relevant page (stock, deals, trade-ins, customers) instead of just sitting there for decoration.
- Location details in Settings now include a Country field, for dealer groups with sites in more than one country.
- General performance and stability improvements across the platform.
